Amanda - Principal Designer

In her ‘second-act’ career, Amanda Waltz brings a wealth of corporate leadership experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and unique solutions to each interior design project. After 15 years in pharmaceutical research, and a stint at Cincinnati Children’s hospital, it was time to reinvent herself. That reinvention started with co-ownership of an interior design firm, which gave her the opportunity to hone her craft and apply business ‘know-how’ to scale a design firm before starting Waltz & Wetherly Inc. with her family.

Over the years Amanda has learned that creativity, spirituality, and philanthropy are the guiding lights to owning a business. As a spinal cord injury (SCI) survivor, she donates a percentage of every design to the Universal Design Project, an organization dedicated to creating reasonably affordable housing options that support common everyday activities for people affected by disability. Creating beautiful environments for SCI survivors dependent upon wheelchair accessibility for mobility is extremely personal and important work at Waltz & Wetherly.

Alex - Creative Director

Alex comes to us with a deep knowledge for teaching collegiate level art (most recently at DAAP) and as an accomplished artist herself, she has a natural eye for interiors as well as curating our Quarters Decor special offerings. As an educator, she understands the importance of working collaboratively with clients to make their interior dreams a reality. As a craftsperson, she is all about the follow through. The attention to detail and dedication she brings to every project is apparent in every space she touches.
